It’s a nice cozy and quiet room for a pub and the service was good. Unfortunately the chefs let the place down with 2 of the 4 meals. I ordered surf and turf and the steak was ordered as medium but came out as well done with charcoal edges. So disappointing. I wasn’t willing to send back though as that would mean waiting for them to cook another and with young children that was not an option. My daughter had roast lamb off the main menu and that was obviously microwaved and tasted like yesterday’s for sure. Hubby had salmon which was quite nice and our son had pizza which was lovely. Wood fired and fresh toppings. I would recommend pizza but that’s it. To be fair I complained about the steak and they gave it to me for half price which was better than nothing and well handled.

Will return someday when they’re not the only place open in town. Staff were fantastic, food was great – even the Parma was the right size.
