This is a great little pit stop on the way to Mt Field National Park. We went for the mixed berry pancakes and these were served with ice cream and cream. This was nice and the staff was friendly. Great little place to have a chance to feed salmons and for a coffee stop.
Tahlia. Pancakes weren’t bad and service on the same level. The price tag was also reasonable.I would go again more for the scenery and to feed the fish than for the pancakes themselves. I have had worse but have also had better.
This was a wonderful surprise – weather was perfect and the apple crepe we had was humble and tasty. The trip it’s self to the salmon ponds is fantastic and a nice home style afternoon tea is just the ticket!
Fresh Salmon. Just found this place when we visited Mt Field National Park, heading to New Norfolk. This is a family friendly place for kids to feed the fish (fee applied). When we walked in to the restaurant, they were having several big tables serving a big group. Surprisingly our foods are not way too long to be served.Service-wise there’s still room for improvement. Not sure if they are just too busy on that day, so that I didn’t see any smiling faces from them. alfredcslau.wordpress.com
