Quick dinner stop before jumping on the spirit of Tasmania. Went in with no expectation but was pleasantly surprised by authentic flavourful dahls and curries. % recommend and will return on my next trip.
Arrived for early but quick dinner (catching the spirit for our return journey). Ordered Chicken vindalo + roti + naan and lemon rice for takeaway. Chicken curry ($20) was spicy and good but the pieces were precooked on skewers so they didn’t have the flavor that the gravt had. Lemon rice turned out to be tomato rice with no hint of lemons so I wouldn’t recommended that. Positives for ambience and reception, chicken curry. Negatives for price and the lemon rice.
