Oh my lord… torn between wanting to not blow open the secret and giving them the praise they deserve (but probably couldnt care less about). Such good f&c – THE best – I think. Serve for 4 -$30 – assorted fish, calamari, chips. Fresh as bro. Sit in the Captains room and enjoy the sea views.
Stopped in on the way to port arthur for some lunch and was totally blown away by this little place. It’s a little shed seemingly in the middle of nowhere with a kind old dog sitting out the front looking on as people come in and out. We had a large group so ordered two of the biggest packs. Inside was fish, octopus, calamari, chips and lemon and it was beautiful. Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. The octopus and calamari were sweet and tender, the fish in tasty bites and the chips were crunchy. Just a squeeze of lemon on top and you’re good to go. Perfect.
