Highly recommended One of the best foods and desserts in Tasmania.Staff were warm and friendly.Specially, Im really recommend for desserts, Raspberry cake was very fluffy, sweet and sour, served with raspberry sauce so niceeeee.
Four of us took the Spirit of Tasmania (overnight) to head to the Launceston Country Club for a get away. 3 of the four spent the night hugging the porcelain throne thanks to the 7 metre waves. Fortunately the Principal used her logic and inhaled a few seasick tablets prior to boarding. Lucky she is driving during this trip. Anyhoo, this was the first breakfast and loo stop. Food was average but soooo cheap. $40 for 3 breakfasts of bacon eggs and sides. Nice display of jams too. A good post Spirit of Tassie morning food stop.
The customer service was nice, polite and so friendly. Its a perfect spot for a family get away, outside the restaurant/cafe you could enjoy the beautiful small lake and other animals! If you have dogs, they will love the place!Spacious garden to play outdoor sports with your family. We ordered:- Morning Spirit (poached eggs served with grilled tomato, mushrooms, wilted spinach on toasted sour dough drizzled with raspberry hollandaise – regular) for $23.00.Morning spirit was nicely presented. The sour dough and tomato were perfectly grilled.Mushrooms were well cooked and seasoned.Everything was nicely executed but the poached eggs because they were overcooked.- Raspberry Pancake (served with home made raspberry ice cream hot raspberry sauce and double cream – small) for $10.50.The pancake was beautifully presented and nicely cooked. The ice cream was creamy, delicious and not too sweet. The texture was smooth and soft. The portion was decent for a small size.- Raspberry Creme Horn for $6.00It was served with 2 large scones. The texture was soft and smooth. On the side, there were cream and raspberry jam to dip with the scones.Again this raspberry farm cafe has proven the outstanding execution to make a fantastic raspberry jam.Overall, we had so much fun! Great vibe and great food with reasonable price. whatepieats.com
