All round great.. Had the mushroom soup and mushroom caps between us. Beautiful, then followed by the best Apple & Rhubarb crumble ever. Great service to match the food.
Slow slow slow. Great physical venue with good decor, ambience, everything going for it but,the service??? To say it was slow & dysfunctional was an understatement. The hot drinks should arrive with the muffins or the scones, right? Nah, didn’t happen. And one table of 7 finally gave up waiting for the food, just paid for their hot drinks then said forget the rest, we are out of here. Very sad because in the right hands, this would be terrific place to visit………hospitality ain’t that easy!
Excellent service.. What struck my wife and me about this place was the way the guy serving us went out of his way to go through the gluten free options on the menu. This was very beneficial to my recently diagnosed partner (Coeliacs) and made the dining experience less stressful.Food was pretty good too!
What a brilliant little place!. I have been to this place a couple of times now and it is brilliant. Friendly staff, great fish and chip and the only place that actually means it when they say they have the best Scollop Pie in Tassie! Seriously it is amazing!
Great service. Great food. Seafood linguine and scallop pie – excellent!!
What a gem! If you haven’t been here, then go for a drive and have a meal. Terrific staff, fabulous setting and delicious food. Highly recommended!!
Disgraceful Service. We went here on the Queens Birthday Long weekend, on the Sunday .. After placing the order, a number of dishes and wines were not available we waited, we waited, we waited and we waited .. 20 minutes for a glass of wine and water .. After 40 minutes, only two other tables had been served we gave up and walked out . Never again – the excuse ? We are a little busy – yes well why not tell us there is a wait instead of pushing us a table and leaving us .. Sorry but no where near standard
