Seriously good pub food. We ordered Chicken Parmigana – excellent tasty chicken super fresh salad and fantastic chips. Kids loved meals – generous portions fresh fish and sausages were yummy too. Lovely water views and friendly helpful staff

Pleasant pub. lovely location. Solid Aussie pub food, a little bit of flair to it, emphasis on the seafood, as you’d expect from something set so close to the Bass Strait. Their pizzas are pleasing, too. Lots of pubs do these things well, of course, but what I liked best about the Pier is its setting, with a lovely overlook of the marina on the Esk River and the surrounding countryside.
