Food, including size of meals, was good but the service was not up to scratch. We may have had a wait person on L plates but her training was inadequate.
Lovely setting, great atmosphere. Breakfast, the option of continental or various cooked meals, I had the vegetarian option which was very yummy.There is a tapas menu in the bar, we had a few items off there, such as the beef dish, teriyaki style salmon, fresh bread with oil and the cheese board. We ordered from the restaurant menu one evening, everything we had was presented beautifully and tasted excellent, really fresh with deep flavours. All the meals we had were of perfect proportions, and set at a worthy price. All the staff were lovely, really seemed genuine and cared about what they did.
