Look – first up we love this place so that probably influences us a fair bit. We’ve had drinks here, we’ve stayed here, we’ve listened to the piano guy (who’s great by the way) and we’ve eaten here too. It has charm, personality and style – in an old world but good way. The food here is good – decent choices and reasonable prices and all in great surroundings. We like it. This place transports you back in time to old fashioned style, service and standards. sirandmladydineout.com
It is about time Hadley’s bar and Resturant had a new write up from a Melbourne foodie visitor. After new management in the last couple of years …. It has an old world charm with great old relaxing music. Not my era but still great. They sell them selves short as the menu looks like slightly up market pub grub but is far from it …. It rates very high. The special salmon dish was cooked to perfection and presented very well. Other dishes I watched come out to others looked equally as great and well presented. Listed matching wines to dishes made it an easy selection. The wine range is small but filled with a great selection of local ones and some from the ‘main land’. The desert selection is unique and delectable.Overall I rate this a 4 out 5 for presentation, ambience, staff and great selection of dishes I hope you enjoy as much as I did .
