Wasn’t too sure after reading the mixed reviews but we had a terrific night. After been seated in the centre of the room we ordered oysters for entree. We differed over the wine list and the wine staff helpfully bought us over a few samples to try. We settled on a bottle of the Frogmore Creek Cab Sav which went very well with our meals.After meals arrived we noticed that ones of the booths were now free. Staff were happy to move us and our food. The porterhouse was served as we asked – rare. It was tender and flavorsome. The whole fish of the day was also brilliant. The self serve salad bar was something that I had not seem in years. Finished with a sticky date pudding and a local whisky. Worth a visit.
