I have been thinking of a word to describe my experience for this gem that is tucked away in Hobart, Tasmania. What I came up with was the word Sublime. In literature it is a description that excites thoughts and emotions beyond ordinary experience, which is what it did for me. The degustation menu at $75 per head was money well spent and the wines that were offered along with some unusual and expertly cooked food were good as well. This would have to be one of the best meals that I have had. This is a small restaurant with its own wine room and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Two sittings per night and eight sublime courses. If you want to tantalise your taste buds, this is the place to do it.
