From the moment I stepped inside this welcoming cosy restaurant I felt somewhat special. Excellent personal services extensive wine list including Tasmania and Australian wines. A surprisingly concise menu, but so far everything I have ordered has been above expectations. ate here last night and just had to come back this evening. The beef short rib is awesome. Staff are a step above any other tassie establishment
Special dinner for the missus birthday last night at Henry’s and for an occasion night out this place is now my new number one From the ambiance and food, service and wine list the three hours spent at Henry’s was outstanding, the evening started with fried gnocchi and octopus ( yum ) and moved on to the market fish of the day (Blue Eye) also faultless, we finished with Macchiatos and Black Forest cake ( Henry’s version) again spot on. with complimentary micro appetisers and palate cleansers the quantity of food and tempo of service was perfect The drinks list is extensive and includes some very nice craft beers The service was friendly and professional and in keeping with the standard of Henry’s Will definitely be returning
