What a deal for the 9.90 lunch special; a curry, rice plus a Naan, papadom and pakora. Curry is good albeit the chicken a little dry. Will definitely come again.
Amazing! my boyfriend and I only eat here and recommend often, no doubt the absolute best indian food in Hobart, open late, even on Christmas day! delicious, cheap, authentic, clean, with many choices for vegetarians. Staff are great and friendly, we cant say enough good things about this place. We’ve moved from Hobart overseas now but often think back to Indian Kitchen, and its wonderful food! thank you for being so awesome!
Like your Indian Mum used to make. Delicious, authentic Indian food that has a real ‘home-cooked’ feel. Reasonably priced, and open later than other restaurants in the Hobart CBD, this place was a revolving door of happy customers eating in and ordering take away. These guys arent afraid to make their food a little spicy – both the Chicken Tikka and Vegetarian Samosa had a lovely kick. The sweet Vegetable Korma is also a standout. Highly recommended.
Great homely Indian food. Best samosas we’ve had in Australia.. Awesome daal and great service. Being Indians we know the taste of good Indian food, and this is truly good. Portion sizes could be slightly better though…
Cheap, cheerful good food. Dropped in here on a whim and found a real gem. My mum and I shared a thali meat platter which was very reasonably prices and filled us up. All the curries were fresh and tasty and the naan was excellent.Would definitely go back again.
