Starting with the positives: no complaints for the food at all. Absolutely beautiful and delicious. The kofta shamsavera is a must try and I liked that it was a modern spin on Indian cuisine with the added orange. All in all would go back for the food!Negatives: really needs a good clean. The carpet as soon as you walk in was dirty and the basket with the papadums still had dried sauce on it from a previous diner; bit gross! The staff were in track pants and their clothes didn’t look clean either. Also not accessible for non able bodied people as you have to walk up a steep flight of stairs to get to the restaurant. All in all, I would go back for the food but it would be nice if they tidied things up a bit so it looked clean enough to eat at.

They were understaffed and did apologise for the wait, but between that and being seated next to drafty curtains covering (not very well) an open window on a cold winter night, I dont think Ill be back.
