My partner and I work up the road and have been coming to Next Door on and off for 3 years now. New owners have done a really good job in cleaning the place up as it sorely needed it, fresh new ideas and the most welcoming and friendly vibe inside and it’s always so warm!Coffee is seriously the best we’ve had yet, love that all food is made there again too they have great options and always tastes fresh, love the consistent attention to detail. We had a few mix ups with our orders the first time we visited but owner was incredible about it, we put it down to new business nerves and continued to return and so glad we did. The only place we recommend this side of town now!
Found this little gem around the corner from my hotel. Went in for a quick coffee to warm me up and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly guy behind the counter and really nice atmosphere. Decided to go back the next day to try the veggie brioche roll and couldn’t leave without a brownie (both were delicious)! The coffee is consistently good, will definitely return.
Eeeew – disgusting coffee. Seriously the worst I have tasted. Croissants stale. Dirty tables. If youre going to wake up each day to go to work surely you want to at least try?
I’m a coffee snob and starting a day well must include a great coffee… Next Door Caf delivers the best coffee by the best team! It’s small caf and popular, but if you have to wait a few moments it’s worth it; sit back relax and enjoy the ambience. Highly recommended!!
They were very friendly. They don’t have a menu and that’s the best part. You tell them what do you like and they will make it for you. The chef lady is super friendly and will make it exactly what you want.
My fave place in Hobart. I absolutely love these guys. I’m addicted to the chicken and leek pies and banana hot chocolates and of course the service is above and beyond.
Went here based on the reviews and was very happy I did. Not the easiest place to find as it’s only small, but the breakfast was very well priced ($13 for scrambled, bacon, tomato and mushrooms), staff friendly and coffee great. Range of beans including single origin and quirky interior.
