Food was average. Service was confused. Not sure whether they are good Indian restaurants in Hobart, but I’m sure you’d find a better one.Was asked whether I wanted all of the food out together, my answer was a very clear yes. I specifically asked for only one serve of rice.Appetiser came out almost immediately after we ordered. Vege pakora was way too battered and quite tasteless.Mains wasn’t served until half an hour later.Ordered a serve of raita and it was served with the appetiser. So I had to order another one for the vindaloo. So it was fair that I paid for it. Although, if all the food came out together, it wouldn’t have mattered. When it was time for the bill. I was charged for two serves of rice. Small amount of money, not bothered. But I find that the Comms between the waitresses and kitchen just isn’t working.

The food was full of flavour and the service was fantastic, they asked us twice if we enjoyed our food and we most definitely did, the servings do seem a little small but they are very filling, the only setback is the price which is a little steep for the amount of food you get. $3 for a pickle the size of a tablespoon is a little silly but other than that it was a great night out

Some bad reviews on here, but I went with my family and had a great time. Service was good, but a little slow at times. Some of the curries, despite being different on the menu did taste the same but all very tasty. I had the lamb chennai which I highly recommend. Great for family.

I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews first, I would have given this place a miss. My partner & I had dinner here last night. We both thought the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant environment was nice & the prices really reasonable – especially for a tourist area. We both enjoy Indian food & thought this was up there with our favourites. Just shows that you can’t always rely on the reviews! So how are we supposed to choose now?!

A sydney tourist. Very disappointing, hyderabadi biryani was supposed to be medium but was fiery hot and otherwise tasteless including the chicken in it . The saffron rice and the biryani rice was undercooked and was unpalatable so at $24 it was an expensive dish and I was charged $3 for a small yogurt ! Waitress was exceptionally unhelpful , when told about the quality, of food, she did not acknowledge or apologise. If you want good indian food don’t go there but if you want tasteless food go for it.

Delicious. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I’m Indian and am normally disappointed when I eat at Indian restaurants, but this place is delicious! Everything we ordered was great and it didn’t take too long to come out. Would Sega recommend it.

I was disappointed at this restaurant! For a mild curry my mouth was on fire .. Paying $22 for a curry it comes in a tiny bowl then u have to pay for a side dish of rice ???
