The menu has a good variety of dishes. The pork chops, fettucini, mushroom and halloumu burger, chicken parmigiana ,meat lover’s pizza , beer battered fish , smoked chicken risotto( which had a good mix of veggies) were delicious. But the star was the Bolognese( we asked them to make it spicy for us). We absolutely loved it. .. flavorsome and delicious. I wish they served mashed potatoes instead of french fries. They donot have mashed potatoes . Tuesday evening is trivia night and prior reservation is recommended.
⭐️ 3.5 stars⭐️ It was a busy Friday night in Hobart and The Brick Factory caught our eye due to the varied menu and the bustling sounds coming from pub. Overhead music was playing while the band set up, the surrounding TVs had an AFL game and an NRL game on and the overall atmosphere was top notch. What we ordered:Karaage ChickenTexas BBQ PorkPesto PumpkinThe base was thin and set the scene for a great pizza. The Texas BBQ Pork spicy and juicy but lacked a degree of pork – we just wanted a bit more pork on the fork! The Pesto pumpkin was cheesy (how I like it) but unfortunately barely contained any pumpkin or artichokes 🙁 as a big fan of both those, would’ve been nice for it to be evenly spread over the Pizza. Good choice in Salamanca!
Cavernous pub space located off Salamanca place going right though to the back. There’s a white wood, brick and beer theme going on here. It feels like a beer barn but not in an alarming way. There’s also a big range of alcohol available here from a largish bar. They had no difficulty supporting our needs. Nice music playing including a good R & B mix at one point. Nice sweet potato fries as a snack. Terrific staff here too. They were pleasant and efficient. A good place overall. Bravo.
