My mum always suggests going here to meet people, I guess because it’s easy to park. But the food is pretty bland and uninteresting. I feel like the menu caters for the elderly and those afraid of flavour. I’m really sorry I hate to be negative but I really get fired up every time I have to go here to meet people because I hate spending money on things I don’t enjoy

Regular locals. My gorgeous husband and I visit here regularly and the coffee is divine. I work and eat in Hobart during the week and save the very best until the weekend, where I know it is consistently delicious. My husband agrees this is one of the finest eateries in Hobart…

In defence of The Timeless Way. I had lunch with one of my old Uni Lecturers at The Timeless Way in June. With a poetically named establishment like that on Constitution Dock how could you not sit there enjoy your coffee and croissants and soak up the atmosphere. The food will get better. I will definitely return when I am next in Hobart.

I ordered eggs which were a tad over done, but the attentive waitress promptly took it back for me and within 5 minutes I had a new breakfast that was perfect. Great example of simple solution to a simple problem which other places sometimes don’t get.

Having heard mixed reviews for this cafe, I went on a Sunday morning. It took too long to get served. Myself and my partner then waited 30 minutes for our coffee – at least it was hot. I then ordered what I thought was muesli with yoghurt. I got a dollop of yoghurt, 2 tablespoons worth of muesli and the remainder was canned fruit and sugary syrup. Was not impressed.

Worst ever. Chicken Caesar was terrible. Very overpriced. $7.2 for an iced choc. Would never go back.
