Oh dear. Almost as bad as trying on jeans during a hot day. Had to try the new place in Moonah because finally I thought I could grab a healthy, yummy sophisticated ‘salad’ take away!I ordered the power box or maybe it was the pow wow box or the pro-ab box? Anyhoot I should’ve added a napkin to the order given the box was covered in guacamole before I even opened the lid. The Mexicans left out my salsa, and the roughage was brown. And no I’m not referring to my black rice which was actually rather tasty. I’ve put below a picture of the advertised lunch box (the middle pic with the lovely, politely placed contents), and then the one I received. The third one was my fresh, fresh brown lettuce. I was so areeba areeba excited about a salad drive thru! Hello- so much less guilt when there’s greenery involved. I did offer Zambrero the chance to fix their pox box but alas not even a reply.. sigh…
After hearing amazing reviews of this place, I finally made a bee line with great expectations. I heard the burrito wraps were huge, sufficient for dinner. Mine (IQ burrito with all extras) however was very underwhelming with hardly any protein (chicken, no flavour) & black rice etc was ok. I am not sure what people are raving about, my wrap was definitely on the small side. It was not sufficient as dinner.It has similar feel to subway & average taste to match.
