Delicious cheeses and toasties straight from the source! We stopped here for lunch on a cold, rainy day, and weren’t disappointed by the toasties we tried (one grilled vegetable and cheese, one ham and cheese). Sampled Primavera, The Gin Herbalist, and Sapphire Blue, plus Hartshorn Vodka and Smoked Mutton Sausage. The Primavera (hard cheese) was delicious as the cheese used in our toasties – would definitely return! Blankets and heaters available in the cafe, and views of the sheep, too. Make sure you buy cheeses to go 🙂
We had a wonderful experience visiting Grandvewe Cheeses. The cheeses were amazing, especially the Black Bewety and Gin Herbalist. The view is very picturesque and the gin and vodkas also a 10/10. Thanks guys!
The most incredible cheesery with awesome tastings and an amazing array of cheeses and other delicacies. The cafe faces a gorgeous view and is a great spot to enjoy the delicacies. The Mac and cheese is a must order- the best weve everrrrr had!
Great hospitality, outlook and of course cheese. Host showed our kids the baby lambs. Lovely spot for a local Pinot in the rain. Well worth the stop, if not as a destination.
Lovely little cafe and cheese tasting room with stunning views. We really enjoyed the primavera and the sapphire blue. I’ve never had sheep milk vodka before but it was delicious! We also enjoyed the Pinot paste to accompany the cheese.
The cheeses are good. But not so ridiculously good that I’d pay the price again. We tried the ewe-accino and the ice cream. Both weren’t anything too different from normal cappuccino or ice cream but the coffee was $6 each and two scoops of rather ordinary ice cream was $7.50. The lady serving us was really nice but I am not certain I can recommend this place to anyone else
The staff were so friendly and helpful! Beautiful place to visit. White pearl cheese was delicious.
