A limited menu. The scrabbled eggs and bacon was fine. My pride was unusual but not bad overall. I had nil issues with the service like others,I like the whale tail outside and I had nice views. Not bad food here
Service bad, food very good. Service 2/10. The service doesn’t exist, I would suggest it’s even rude, it’s like they don’t want customers. Food 7/10. I had the salt and pepper squid it was very good it did need a sauce which they previously did serve. The side salad was a handful of fresh rocket which was plesent and also needed dressing, the chips with sea salt were excellent.
Staff. When I was asked what my order was, I started saying it, then the younger female whispered something to the older female that I was giving my order to and she turned her back on me and walked out to the kitchen. When she came back, she just asked again what I wanted, no apology, no smile, I then started placing my order and was ignored again. On my third attempt, I was told one of the meals that I wanted I could not have as it is for the lunch menu and it was not lunch time yet. I looked at the time and said it is 5 minutes to 12, again,, it was not lunch time, so I picked something from the breakfast menu. By the time the order was taken and we paid for it, she said lunch menu is now available as we were walking to our table, minus the table number that everyone else seemed to be issued with. After being treated so rudely, it was hard to enjoy our meal, which was very basic and unimpressive.
Love it! Architect-designed, community-built quirky cafe, foodstore and gallery with views over the water and mainland. Great coffee and food, small menu which changes daily – don’t miss the Friday night fish (local catch of the day) & chips.
