Stopped by Beachfront 32 after a morning workout at Kingston Beach with my family from Melbourne. Service was friendly & inviting, food was of excellent quality and beautifully presented. Prices are reasonable. Great menu with variety. Overall very happy with our experience here, lovely location too! Thanks 🙂
Was quite suprised to see the Merlo coffee signat this beachfront venue down southwhere you can also get an alcoholic beverage to go with itif you so wish.They have a cute little bar in the corner & also serve up some great Preistley sweet treats. The coffee came out strong (which is what I had requested)was smooth & creamy with that great Merlo hit. Loved the waterfront location (despite that Tassie wind blast!!!)
Highly recommended!. We came down to kingston for a Sunday drive and stopped here for lunch. The Thai fish cakes with sweet potato chips were delicious. very yummy pea and corn burger for vegetarians. the kids loved the home made salt and vinegar strips with chips. very pleasant sitting outside on a winters day. make sure you bring your jackets! lovely lunch enjoyed by whole family.
Apparently they had problems with their point of sale system today… I wouldn’t know, at 3.30 today 5 of us wanted a cold beer and some munchies and the place was closed… Beautiful spring day, Sunday afternoon and closed…10 Jun, 2013Been back a few times since my last review, food still great and service definitely on the improve. Don’t go to the toilet though, gritty and you are likely to get locked in…one of my companions did last time we visited. Too cheep to replace a dud lock on a toilet door? I hope not, it is shame when something so simple can spoil a good night out …18 Feb, 2013On the downhill fast…. Sadly this place isn’t maintaining its previously great standards.Generally, the food is still good and they have done some good things with the fitout (although it is too hot inside on any day over 25 degrees).But the service is absolutely crap – more staff would be useful but many of those they have just don’t seem to understand the importance of good customer service.Generally meals arrive in a decent amount of time but putting in an order can take longer that the cooking time. Just getting a takeaway coffee can be rather painful.The other gripe I have about this place is that it never seems to be open – closed Sun and Monday evenings ! The grill turned off by 8pm most other nights and not opening until 9am on weekends… not how you build a dedicated customer base. At least, in my opinion it isn’t…
Friday night favourite. My husband and i go to this restaurant every friday night because its affordable and we receive great food and excellent service, never have we been kept waiting unreasonable times for our meals,only ever had one mistake made with an order and that was rectified with a free desert and apology and another apology .this is a fantastic place to go and have a good night out, great live music steaks cooked to perfection,chicken moist and delicious scallops that are done perfect, fantastic salad and chips overall would recommend this place anytime, also kids are very welcome and they are accommodating with there meals excellent.
Yum!!!!!. Love the beetroot salad. Love the service. Can’t believe someone has bitched about the service!!!! The vibe is really chilled, Staff are happy and friendly. Havent beeen yet to burger night but friends have recommended it. Nori Trevalla is really good too. Fish cakes and zucchini fritters are really flavoursome. So nice to have something local that does great food and great coffee
5 stars!!! I go there every week – every day if I could. Excellent food and service. A huge variety and unique daily specials. The best coffee I’d had in years which is what first got me hooked and then I tried the food! So many words could be used to describe beachfront 32 – wow, delicious, original, friendly, – but they just dont do it justice. So Go to beachfront 32 for breakfast, lunch Or dinner and you will know what I mean!
