Curries (beef vindaloo, lamb roghan josh, paneer masala) were great. Mixed entree platter not so much (no lamb chops as promised, had too much chicken instead)
Not sure how they managed to get so many good reviews. I am honestly surprised with the lack of service and poor quality. Snacks appeared to be reheated / refried not crispy at all. No smiles at all. Food was about 3-4/10 at best and did not get any complimentary pappadam etc.
Ho Hum. The staff are always friendly and a bit confused.The food is solid bland Indian and perhaps if you don’t mind atmosphere go to Haris Curry around the corner as it appears to come from the same kitchen but at takeaway price.The atmosphere is genteel and westernised. Possibly good for groups who have a limted palette for spice.Beer is always good and cold.
Yummy food and great service. We will definitely head here next time.
