If I hadn’t seen baby macaque monkeys today, I would definitely have said Amelia’s was the best thing about Launceston. So, as it was edged out from nmero uno only by unbearably adorable tiny primates, I’d have to recommend this place heartily. Great coffee made right be lovely people, and some tasty sweet little things to accompany said coffee. So impressed to see the level of community engagement here, too; the exhibit of children’s art made me year up a little, and the re-use of coffee grounds in local gardens/compost is also a great sustainable initiative. Cool surroundings and things to read while you caffeinate. Can’t wait to visit again next time we’re on the island. 🙂
I Love It Here. Ahhh….At the end of a freezing day, you just want something to warm you up while travelling on your way home from work. Finished work, went to Amelia’s Espresso, asked for a Large Extra Hot Chia and made it to perfection. My walk home was a happy and warm walk. I was a happy customer 🙂
