Had the scallops, dry aged porterhouse steak and a couple of sides. All were extremely delicious, steak cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive, excellent service with regular check backs. Highly recommended.
Overall, probably the best restaurant in Tasmania. We had a 300g medium-rare scotch fillet with truffle bearnaise sauce, baby carrots and snow-peas and sour dough with butter. Steak grilled to perfection, full of flavour, tender, and perfectly seared, accompanied with delicious truffled bearnaise. The meat was served with a delicious thinly sliced, baked potato tart, and two side dishes: perfectly cooked and naturally sweet tiny baby carrots with Harissa yogurt, blanched snow peas sprinkled with citrus juice and coarse salt. I never had snow peas as delicious as these! Also we started with sour dough house baked bread which was a definition of what sour bread should be.All that was more than enough for two people, and cost $83, which was a great price for such quality food.Additionally, service was great and ambiance very pleasant.Just an update. We came back the next night and had porterhouse steak , mushrooms side dish, and panna cotta for the dessert. Again, couldn’t fault anything!
