What a great experience at Cinnamon! Yummy food and friendly staff. We started we some garlic naans and a trio of dips followed by a butter chicken and a slow cooked lamb dish. Brilliant stuff. Thank team!
We went to Cinnamon while we were in Launceston whilst on our holiday to Tasmania. And we loved it so very much that we came back to this place before we left. The chicken tikka masala was simply superb, naan was the softest we ever tasted in Australia. Wish there was a restaurant that served such tasty India food here in Melbourne. Totally totally loved it, we will surely go back for a meal there if we visit Launceston again.
What’s the fuss!!After reading good things about this place we were excited but soon it all changed to a bad experience. The restaurant is in a complex, from out side it didn’t looked like a restaurant, the tables and chairs used in the restaurant were of alfresco dining or outside use. Apart from all those things the curries were runny and dripping all over our table. They tasted average, there are better places in Tasmania.
Being an Indian, I can say that it is the best Indian restaurant in Launceston. The chicken madras and lamb Mysore chilli was simply great.I will be back again
Dinner. Expensive $19 for curry with few pieces of beef and plentiful sauceNaan was good otherwiseWould come here only if food was cheaper, and more meat or at least add veg to the curry to bulk it up!
Lam Madras. Subtle spices such as cloves and cinnamon against a coconut gravy – just do elegant and tasty, favours linger next day, not at all the punchy usual Indian24 Feb, 2015Tandoori Salmon. Delicate silken melt in your mouth. Best entree.
