First had Franco’s Spaghetti Puttanesca when I was fourteen and ten years later I still think nothing comes close to its perfection. I am also quite the fan of the Pescatora.Franco’s has a great atmosphere with lovely staff and all the family working there. Always great to talk to Frank when he is there. Coming back to Launceston for the first time in a few years I can say it is one of my favorite places. Tastes just as good as I remember!
Went here for dinner, probably won’t be going back. Vegetarian meals are not labelled well. Too expensive for pretty much stock standard pasta entree sizes.
TassieTourist. Found francos after a bit of googling, no reviews so we thought we’d give it a go. Atmosphere was pleasant, service was great, but the food was really not up to scratch, especially with mains around $30. That kind of, from a can type meal. Admittedly, only tried the chicken and scallops.
