Came for dinner and we tried goat cheese salad (very nice) the lamb rump and pork porterhouse. Both are quite nice, my pork has nice garnishing on it though the sauce on the sides was hotter (chilli wise) than expected. Service wise the food took a while to come out. Prices expensive, but I like the old English ambience inside. Worth a look

Always stay at the Clarion hotel upstairs. Second visit on arrival from the Spirit of Tas we were starving so decided to order room service from Larceny. I had the chicken breast and hubby had porterhouse pork. Omg we were in heaven.! I esp loved the waldorf salad and chilli ginger jam. Kindly would love to grab some of this chilli jam to take back home to Melbourne. Went so well with the meat and crispy potatoes too. Highly recommend these meals. So sad that we are not locals to have these tasty dishes!!

Generous servings of lovely food. We had oysters from St Helens – love to see locally sourced food. Staff were very attentive! Great for a casual bite.

We enjoyed the sumptuously decorated dining room with high back chairs and a cozy fireplace on a cold Launceston night. Service was excellent. The caramelized onion and goat cheese tart on a bed of arugula was scrumptious. However, the herb crusted Atlantic salmon was a tad flat. wabisabigreen.com
