Friendly, welcoming staff. They do nightly specials and we came for the $16 250g rump steak, it was delicious and we also had salt & pepper squid for an entree that was also delicious. Wouldnt recommend for fine dining, but for those who are looking for a simple pub and filling meal.

After making a booking and unfortunately getting a little lost actually trying to find the pub, we were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. There was always a staff member to serve us, and our wonderful and hearty meals were served quickly and filled our stomachs after a windy journey there! Really welcoming and friendly pub, definitely recommend for a good feed after a hard day 🙂
We walked in after strolling around town looking for a decent feed. We were welcomed by a very friendly and happy lady. They very kindly kept the kitchen going as it was closed half an hour before we came. I ordered a porterhouse and my g/f order a chicken dish. It was presented beautifully, fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended.
Very nice. Been there the last 2 nights it was good both nights I had the salt and pepper squid the 1st night and the 2nd night It was a steak special for $15.00 can’t go wrong at that price and the staff were very good also , will go again next time I am in Launceston
Diana. Not normally into pub food, but in this case was the closest food available to where we were staying & as we had been hiking all day we needed food in a hurry. We were seated quickly & received food quickly in copious amounts. All the food was freshly cooked & our fish was flake (not a particular favorite of mine) but it was cooked to perfection & the salad & veg we had with it was also fresh & tasty oh & it didn’t break the bank at $15 a head!
