Exactly what I was looking for after a week of average food. Everything was so delicious, my favourites were the seafood curry (best fish I’ve eaten!) and beef vindaloo. Service was great and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere as well. Serving sizes were also very decent compared to what I’ve had at other indian restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Everything here is delicious- curries, roti, cocktails and deserts! The servings are very generous and not overpriced either with the only downside being that the beef was a bit overcooked and dry. Ate so much I can barely move but it was well worth it.

I had the Chefs speciality (Pickled Beef). Very tasty and worth trying instead of all the traditional menu items. The staff were friendly. I didn’t need to make a table booking on a Tuesday night but there was a steady flow of customers both eating in and taking away. I would guess that this would be a popular venue later in the week. All the meals were very reasonably priced as well.

We were just in town for a couple days from Melbourne and chanced upon this place! Service and food was excellent! We had the Madras Fish Curry and it was definitely note worthy!

It’s not always about the food.Staying in Launceston only for 2 nights, Went to this restaurant for the first time with family & friends a few hours back after a tiring trip. Experienced one of the worst customer service. Ordered the food & waited for more than 1.5 hrs. When asked about the delay, the staff were rude. Beyond a certain point, they didn’t even attend our table. The food arrived almost after 2 hours. Left the restaurant with frustration. They totally ruined the night for us.Will never go to this restaurant again & will certainly not recommend to my friends.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel, which assisted in choosing. When we arrived, we found the interior to be lovely, quaint & cosy. The food – it’s on another level of delicious! We started with the Fish Tikka (O.M.G) & the mixed Naan entree. We then had the butter chicken & picked beef (house specialty!). Amazing is an understatement to describe the mains. Small portion sizes, but packed full of depth and flavour. Staff were amazingly helpful and polite. I hope we can return here before we leave!

A solid 4, food was fresh and tasty. Wait staff were friendly and professional. We had, prawn masala, butter chicken, rice, and naans, couldn’t fault them at all, lots of flour with a good ratio of meat to sauce. If I was being really critical I would say the only thing to let it down is the decor and layout is looking a bit dated, we went at sunset, the light floods in so they closed the blinds which made the place dark and feel a bit dank, then again some of the best places I’ve eaten haven’t looked fantastic so who cares I guess.Could do with a freshen up but the food and service was fantastic! We would go there again. 🙂
