As a Celiac traveling overseas it’s always a bit nerve racking trying to find places to eat. What a wonderful find Samuel Pepy’s Cafe was! The staff were friendly, the food was excellent, and because everything they serve is gluten free, there’s no worry about cross contamination. I had the battered fish and chips and the salted caramel iced latte so delicious! I would highly recommend.
Best breaky that we’ve had in Launceston so far. We started with some incredible coffees followed by the big breakfast and smashed avo. Great flavours and great service. Thanks team!
I came to experience warm and genuine hospitality wherever I go in Launceston and if I were to rate them all, the lovely and sweet people at Samuel Pepy’s Cafe most likely will come out top. The whole cafe is decorated with vintage stuff and has a wall dedicated to old teaspoons. Up the old rickety stairs to the upstairs seating area and you are greeted with colouring books for both adults and kids to pass time while you wait for your meal. The heavily buttered salmon and egg bunsky with sour cream was a decadent treat masquerading as a healthy breakfast. The mixed mushroom on toast with spinach was definitely the healthier sibling. Washed it all down with a mug of skinny latte, which was unfortunately a bit weak, and we are all set for an adventure. PS – the peanut butter cookie is absolutely ffffing delicious, it’s like eating solidified peanut butter.
Best breakfast we had in Tasmania. Best lunch we had in Tasmania. Excellent service. None better. So good we went back for more. Do yourself a favor and support an excellent establishment.
Great atmosphere, very friendly.. Very friendly staff. Chocolate brownie was awesome. Amazing drink flavours.
Barry from the Bush. Normally love this place and food but disappointed with roast pork Sunday, a little dry and cold veg.
Diners from Perth WA. Wonderful service, wonderful food, fantastic family run establishment and to top it off the best 100% gluten free produce I have ever had, even if you are not GF you will be amazed at this quaint cafe. We had breakfast here two days in a row, travelling on now otherwise would be back again tomorrow!
