Kitchen has gone down hill. Went back to the Irish for dinner last week for the first time in a number of months. Without going into details, 3 out of the 4 meals we ordered were way below the standard we had experienced in the past. To top it off we had the Toblerone cheese cake which was quite disappointing.On the whole, not nearly worth the money. Great place for drinks though! We left feedback on the night so hopefully the chef does something about the menu.

Nice warm eating area off the main pub, open fire and insulated from the hussle of the public bar.Staff are friendly and attentive, meals are a decent size, a tad small on the sides of mash and veg thou. A second scoop of mash can’t cost a restaurant much at all.Only let down by still sharing a bathroom with the pub. With it’s own bathroom this could be a stand alone restaurant. Overall a good meal, and great staff
