Great little venue decorated with interesting pieces from The South. I thought the food was authentic and well cooked – however I thought the ribs lacked flavour. Although the rest of the dish (potato salad and BBQ beans) was very flavoursome. The highlight for me was the Creme Brle and Coffee, French style with an hint of chicory.
Just had dinner here. The sides were all good but the brisket which should be the star of the dish was very dry. I can’t recommend. Service was ok. Wine list is very limited. When I paid my bill I asked the waitress what the Cooks thought about the dry brisket. She said ‘not much’. Don’t bother go to fancy Hank’s in melbourne and you will get the real deal.
