Horrible food, poor service, rude management. Never again! Over priced. Dirty premises, shitty work practice. Uncaring staff of any complaints. Get orders wrong and don’t care. Think they’re better than their customers. Dirty conveniences. No toilet paper and too busy to care. All a bit up themselves. They forget who pays their wages, rent etc. So disappointed at last visit. It used to be nice. Not anymore. Horrible horrible horrible!!!
Terrible venue, terrible management. Ordered the woodfired Marion Bay chicken, received a decapitated duckling and a pathetic excuse for an apology in it’s place.
Had lunch here last Friday and was very disappointed. I had the ribs which were well cooked but not particularly hot, the stuffed pasta shells were full of flavour but basically cold despite being in a cast iron dish. Finally the pizza lover in the family described the potato pizza as the blandest bready pizza they had ever tasted.
Delicious food, wonderful service. Highly recommend this place. I had the eye fillet and was not disappointed!
Very happy, service was excellent, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We weren’t familiar with some of the drinks on offer and they offered taste tests for not just one but a few different beers. Our meal was very tasty, cooked very well and we didn’t have to wait long. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Launceston.
MUST TRY!. 19 Jan 2015… dinner.You must visit this place! The Buffalo wings are sooo good! And I don’t even need the dipping sauce. Then for my main I had their day’s special: Beef Cheeks. Tender and flavourful! Total bill came out to just AUD$36.00 and I am satisfied and thought this is good value for money.
Awesome! I discovered Star Bar while on a working holiday in Launceston. As I had to eat out every night I tried many eateries and Star Bar quickly become my favorite. Tried nearly all the menu items and every dish I ordered was fantastic. Pizza was traditional Italian which is hard to find in Launceston, Oysters kilpatrick were yummy, scotch fillet was delicious, desserts amazing. Staff were always smiling and friendly.
