What a surprise!. Went there by chance and had a truely splendid evening.We were served by the wife of the chef and both were brand new and careful to explain and to present.I was very impressed by the floorshow our delightfully daffy drinks waitress gave us in sheer personality and engagement.The food was subtle, had good flavour ‘waves’ and was easy to digest. The only sour note was that my companion wanted sour cheesecake and found it too sweet. I thought it was light and subtle with an interesting combantion of basil and raspberries.I’m going back.
Dined here last night with two colleagues from Melbourne. Two of us had the confit duck leg and the other the fish of the day. We all agreed. Food, service and atmosphere fantastic.
Diner from Perth WA. After wandering the streets if Launceston we came across the Northern Club, we enjoyed exceptional service from Luke and had a lovely 3 course meal with a refreshing glass of local wine. Would recommend a visit to this place. After dinner we had a little dance in the bar.
Absolutely brilliant. All the food was so fresh with neat, clean flavours and beautifully put together combinations. I wish we had found this restaurant before our last night in Launceston! Really lovely staff too. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
