We stopped off here for dinner before the Launceston ghost tour, since the tour departs from right outside. It was great. Reasonably priced drinks, friendly service and delicious pub-food. Would definitely recommend.

We were drawn into this pub by the live Irish folk music. We ended up staying for dinner – roast special with a dessert. The food was good, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was terrific.
Terrible, avoid at all costs. Everything about this place was bland. The food was flavourless and poorly cooked. The vegetables that came with the roast out to be over cooked stir fried vegetables including celery. Who eats celery with a roast? The sticky date was the worst I have ever had. The sauce was gelatinous and cold. My friend got a chicken filo parcel with garlic potatoes. The store bought pastry was under cooked, the chicken dry and the boiled potato was raw with cream poured over it. The chef must actually hate food/life or have no taste buds to create such woeful food. I won’t eat there again even if it was for free.
