A very disappointing and unpleasant experience.. Took 1/2 hrs to get main meal, if that was not bad enough when I did ask how long the meal would take the staff decovered that one meal was unavailable as the chef had sent the last serving to an in house guest. God only knows how long staff would have taken to realised the stuff up with our order. Staff blamed kitchen staff for the error. Over all we as a group of 7 we had a horrible experience at this venue and would not be recommending it to any of our friends. I live here in Tasmania and was very disappointed with the whole experience , I would be very embarrassed if tourists though this is the kind of service they would just get in Tasmania. We as a family have eaten in a number of good restaurants but and by far this is the worst. Pick up your overall service as the current service is rubbish. Very disappointed diners..
Nice venue but …. Took 1.5 hrs to get main with only bread in between. Then meals were cold and 4/5 side orders were stuffed up – i.e. vegies vs salad options. Wait staff reluctant to take responsibility – blamed kitchen – breaks first rule of customer service. Made to feel like ‘difficult’ customer when sent back for hot food. Did try to recompense with freebie drink or dessert – appreciated but better attitude and earlier intervention from manager would have been sufficient. The central meat component of each dish was good (when hot) but the vegies poor.

When it did come out, it wasn’t seasoned at all and by that time it was cold. There was no salt in our shaker, nor was there any in the shakers of the two nearest empty tables to season the food. The portion size of my partner’s rabbit dish was laughable.Anyone would think management are deliberately trying to run this place into the ground with how it seems to be run, I feel bad for the wait staff who would no doubt would cop a fair bit from unhappy customers. If you feel like shelling out an utterly ridiculous amount of money for food that’s simply not up to scratch, then this is the place for you. What an absolute rip off.
