  Ok I should have gone for the salad, but when you can buy a chicken wrap from this place chock full of fresh salad you’re on a winner. Off to do some errands for work so was driving past this place. I’m not usually a fan of the takeaway store, but thought I’d have a sticky beak. The inside is clean, bright and modern. The staff quick friendly and they know what they’re doing. The turn over for food is significant and this I judged by the line of people waiting for food. The Bain Marie is stocked simply with fresh food, inc the wraps and burgers. I’m yet to try the burger but if it’s anything like the wrap it’ll be a treat. I had the peri peri chicken wrap which is a large piece of crumbed chicken served with bacon, a mayo-like dressing and heaps of salad. Although the food is cooked quickly the food doesn’t appear to stay in the Bain Marie for long. It’s one of those places, where they’ve stuck to what they’re good at. Not a dim sim or a sav in sight thankfully. No counter tops filled with confectionery and bits and bobs! Simple, well cooked food. Next time I may branch out for the burger, after all that’s what this store advertises as its best dish. If they had awesome coffee I’d rate this place a 4, but I’ll do that in the next occasion. If i do risk a coffee from a take away joint, and it has the requisite kick of earthy addictive dirt I’ll edit this and up the score.

  Awesome!. As good a burger as you are likely to get anywhere in Hobart. I regularly order their chicken burger via phone on my way through to the sports stadium, great friendly service, the burger is ready and waiting for me when I arrive and well priced. I recently tried the two clowns burger and while not completely to my own personal taste it was a beautifully crafted burger. Rumour has it they are adding a few burgers to their gourmet range which include some treats involving blue cheese and brie – can’t wait !Apparently their souvlaki is pretty awesome also but I just keep ordering their yummy burgers, maybe one day…Oh, a great fries also !
