The set up was cute, I quite liked the look of the place but we got off to a bad start. We ordered some lunch and coffees, noticed all of the coffee awards on the wall but unfortunately it didn’t live up to that hype. It was nice but nothing great. Noticed that some of the wait staff would crawl under the bar to get in and out of the serving area, putting their hands on the dirty ground each time and then handling plates and food. Pretty gross. We then waited about 45mins for our food, not sure why there was such a wait as it tasted like it had all been reheated. While waiting for our food, we asked the waitress how much longer it would be and if we could perhaps get it take away as we only had an hour parking. She was immediately defensive and rude, said that they were very busy as they were full upstairs too (which was untrue) and wouldn’t let us explain why. We weren’t angry at all, just anxious about getting a parking ticket.Overall a bad experience, bad food, bad service and bad hygiene.

I guess they have changed following the last two don’t like it reviews. Friendly lady served and the order for a smoked salmon focaccia lived up to my expectations
Very mixed emotions here. In a group of five people, only two of us were happy with their breakfast (eggs Benedict & the bacon and egg muffin). Others had poached eggs that were way over cooked and raisin toast that was both burnt and cold. Plus we waited for over 45mins for our food when it didn’t seem all that busy. Think it’s a bit of a hit and miss with this one guys!!
A trifecta of rudeness! A comment was made about where we chose to sit (the place was empty). We noticed a sign that said table service, but when we asked for water were told to get it ourself. My friend said ‘I did go up, but there were no cups’. The waitress wandered off. When my friend went up to get water there were still no cups. We were then flippantly told ‘ah you need to bring your own’. Never again!!
This is an excellent restaurant/cafe. I have only ever had friendly prompt staff take my order and the food as always arrived faster than any other place I’ve been – even when it is flat out busy. The coffee is quite nice and the eggs Benedict is SO good! I’m a big fan!
The front of house gentleman…I was enjoying a coffee with company and observed you commenting to the barista about icing sugar applied to a customers sweet, possibly the customer did not want icing sugar? One thing I am sure of is the customer would not have wanted the sweet after you BLEW the sprinkle off with your breath, yes intentionly took a breath and blew all over the customers food. I am glad I enjoyed my last ever coffee at Beajangles, as did my friends. What a shame.
