Couldn’t help but laugh at the other review complaining that hot cross buns were more expensive here than at the supermarket. Yes darl, but this is something called a cafe. I was surprised at how good my coffee was and everything we ate was tasty too. Also, lovely atmosphere, comfy chairs, a great selection of magazines on offer. I’ll definitely come again on my next Hobart visit.
Stopped by for lunch today and everything we ordered was delicious and in my opinion it was well priced by Aus standards. The vegetarian roll was one of the best I have eaten so far. This will definitely be one of the things that I will miss when I leave Hobart. They have a veggie burger too did bot get to taste it but that’s not something you see on the menu often so its worth a try. I will surely come back here when am in Hobart again.
Coffee is fantastic here – don’t be put off by the franchise name. They have a range of frappicinos which is delicious on a hot day & those not needing to watch the calories! The cafe is spacious & decorated with style. Food is varied (perhaps too franchise-cafe-like menu for my personal taste), but it is popular with all age groups. Service is friendly, welcoming & family friendly (they provide colouring pencils & pictures to colour to keep kids entertained). For me, it’s a winner as coffee is consistently excellent.
So overpriced. This should be given more $ signs. It is sooooo expensive for what it is. Hot Cross Buns $4.95 EACH!! The one’s from Coles are much better and are $3 per six pack. The food is generally edible but you may as well eat elsewhere as its just so overpriced.
Best variety of GOOD food. I’m surprised this restaurant has so few likes! I thought it was an excellent place with good food every time I’ve visited and can’t wait to taste the rest of their very extensive menu. I wish they had a place like this in Melbourne with a menu that seems to be able to satisfy everyone in the family. The staff are very friendly and attentive and just the general feel of the place when you walk in is very warm and welcoming. Very big thumbs up!

Had the big breakfast. It was well prepared. Enjoyed my meal. Staff was friendly and engaging.
