Brilliant food and super friendly service. Looking forward to going here again. I had the garlic bread which even rates a mention all on its own. Mains was Filetto, which came recommend and was awesome. For desert has Mama’s Cassata which was generous and excellent.
Well, back to Don Camillo for a midweek fix of Italian, I have long held this place in high regard so the missus and I decided to introduce our two mature aged kids to this institution in Magnet Court, Dad and Son both had entrees, mine, the Mushroom Bruschetta was top notch and junior rated his Seafood chowder, special note about the drinks, Menabrea is on the beverages list and as a long time favourite Italian beer it was certainly given a fair tasting as was the Chianti !, Mains included Risottos, Raviolis and Marinaras, all rated well, there was decent coffee and Panna Cotta to finish The restaurant is warm and cozy and a good night was turned great when one of the kids picked up the tab!!!!Will continue to frequent this place!
Looks can be deceiving, upon entrance the restaurant looks great and all, until we got to eating the food… Ordering was a breeze, the little starters were quick as. But what kills this is that it literally took an hour before the food came… Like cmon make it quick. And when the food finally came the portions were small asf… This is a personal thing, the veal was freaking chewy asf like…. Other than that nothing else can ruin the atmosphere besides old ass people laughing and being noisy asf. GG
