Booked a table of eight last minute for a birthday meal.basically because most restaurants in Hobart were closed on Monday January 1st (go figure), turned out to be a pretty good 5th or 6th choice ( unfortunately we didnt get a great table but understandable under the circumstances)the main dining area has great views over the Derwent so ask when booking, after settling down with some nice beverages from an extensive drinks menu our group opted for the Classic Banquet ( $60.00 per person )From start to finish all plates were spot on and thoroughly enjoyed, the service was unobtrusive and efficient and the timing just so, Will definitely return
As I did a walk in without a reservation, I was unable to get a seat by the windows which overlooked the tasman sea. Would recommend making a booking in advance if youd like that. Food wise they were pretty decent, nothing exceptional that stood out.
Absolutely loved Kwan Ho. The service was impeccable, the views were amazing and couldnt fault the food. We had the classic banquet, which was reasonably priced and included a lot of dishes.
