Very tasty place with professional customer services! We ordered a seafood noodle and a plate of bok choy, cost around $60 AUD. The food is awesome, I would say even better than most of the Chinese restaurant in Sydney. The only thing is the price. I will recommend it to people who dont mind the money too much.
Me Wah is a fine dining Chinese restaurant. Be prepared to pay high prices for small portions. Their service is excellent, very attentive. We came here with the intention of having Peking duck but because there was no website or photos of the menu it was not until we sat down that we realized they only served it in entree style – 4 pieces for $28. The duck itself succulent, tender not dry but unfortunately the skin was not crispy. Hubby said he enjoyed the crab dumplings. The roast pork belly was also a let down, with only traces of meat attached and mostly fat -$32 for 16 small pieces of fat. The sweet and sour pork ribs were good not at all too batter-y, but not at all worth $28. Not sure either why they call it ribs and not just sweet and sour pork as it was mostly just small pieces of meat and only 2 little bones were found. The food here is good (not great), presentation is nice, but for the price you pay its not worth raving about. You are paying for the attentive service, ambience and decor. May be a good restaurant if they dont enforce minimum $30 per person limit, when you can stuff yourself for less in group.Left the restaurant because of this stupid policy, its not about money but respect!!
