The outside than inside was wonderful it’s like going to the Chinese shop in China the waitress was wonderful he gave our food order lovely the food and coffee was wonderful and I hope they keep up the good work it’s good food there
This is a very average suburban Australian Chinese restaurant. Decor is quite dated, tired looking and the lighting is quite dark. The food is pretty average and everything is coated with a ‘brownish gooey sauce’. Their spicy chili chicken is nice though. Overall, nothing impressive.
Finally back in good old Tassie and ready to hit the restaurants, good and bad! That said,it was a catch up dinner with friends at Ming Court last night and as the discussions were mostly about international travel and property acquisitions none of us could be tossed trolling through the the numerous menu pages generally on offer at Chinese Restaurants so we opted for the $35 banquet, one of three available, The service was perfunctory and the courses were of the usual offerings and size ( sweet & sour pork, chicken, beef and fried rice) but nothing really outstanding, the service fell away after the mains with some desert orders not as requested and an order of green tea somehow turning into some very average coffee I thought the final bill I little on the high side ( we did BYO ) and found the fare average at best also it’s clear the missus hasn’t forgiven me for Oktoberfest!!
When I find something that I like I stick to it. The kung pow chicken is absolutely awesome! I asked if I could have it with tofu instead and it was even better. The dumplings here are also really good. Definitely recommend this place for an easy night out or take away.
