Went here rather than the super busy buffet, ordered the fisherman’s basket and the missus got the salmon. The staff were very attentive, I think we were asked how everything was about 5 times. The seafood was as you’d expect, nothing amazing but tasty nonetheless. The salmon was served crispy skin side down… Onto a bed of mash, which made the skin not so crispy, but it all tasted ok. Perhaps a little over priced but everywhere in Tassie seems to be so far. Worth a look but I might be heading to the buffet next time myself.

Sign this place up for Gordon Ramsays kitchen nightmares. Shameful. $30 for a seafood basket which was all out of the freezer and not much on the plate is unacceptable. No worth $10 at a local chippo. So much fresh produce within 500m.

Avoid avoid avoid. We had two meals here during our stay at wrest point. The first wasn’t great but on our last night we decided to give it another try. We were told off by the waitress who told us that we were being unreasonable for waiting only 55 minutes for the food of which we had to return to the kitchen once. The steaks are so chewy that I you can hardly swallow. Upon their return they were no better but there are no refunds allowed. Never eat here. The buffet is much better as is just about every where else in Hobart.
