If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Absolutely appalling service. Expensive for the quality/size of the meal. One of our group specifically requested a vegan meal and found small pieces of meat throughout it halfway through the meal. They lied and said it was onion and later admitted it was meat. Then their excuse was that the wok was not clean. They then proceeded to be incredibly rude, raising their voices and told us to tell the police then. Absolutely disgusted.

Good Chinese food. 22 Jan 2015.. Asians visit this place. That for me says a lot about the food of this venue. Food was good. Crispy and real Chinese roast duck. Tastes good and authentic Chinese style chicken and veg with cashews. Simple, delicate and delicious veg and tofu.Total bill AUD$62.30 for two people. Slightly pricier than I’d like it to be, but I guess it’s in Sandy Bay, Hobart (and I am on vacation…). Nevertheless, I am happy to pay again because I’m happy and satisfied with the food. That for me is value for money. Staff (both in-training) were attentive, but another woman — older, maybe the owner(?)/supervisor(?) — was a bit arrogant. Venue is more like a fast food take-away joint.I’m Chinese, born and bred, now living in Melbourne Victoria. If you want real Chinese food, come to this place when in Tassie… (fair warning: Never ever visit Jin Xing restaurant in Launceston. They’re posers posing as Chinese restaurant that are truly overpriced crap… see my Launceston post of 18 Jan 2015.)

Food was tasteless and a bit pricy. 11.30 for stirred noodle? And the staff was not nice! Rude! And oh, I think I got stomachache right afterwards. Don’t go to this place!
