Cute little French bistro in a non-touristy area. Decided to try this place as it was just down the road from where we were staying. This doesnt appear to be a very touristy area so I think its mostly locals who go here. The food was great – unpretentious (but not cheap) Bistro style French food – the steak was great. Service was friendly and helpful – its a very small place so theres only one person but she wasnt flustered and knew the menu (and wine matchings) inside out. Make sure you book in advance as the place only has a few seats and was full on a weeknight.
After a long time between visits went back to this wonderful little restuarant and had a superb meal. French onion soup duck and a raspberry parfait for me all great. Sharon had soup the special of the night braised lamb shoulder and crime caramel which she gave big thumbs up. Great service and wonderful ambience. It won’t be so long between visits I can assure people.
