We eat here frequently and are never disappointed. Service is always lovely and food is delicious! I don’t mind travelling from Smithton to enjoy a delightful breakfast here.
Really enjoy going for breakfast here. So many food and drink options, although they could have a few more savoury vegetarian options. Presentation and quality of food is beautiful. My favourite meal is the tutti frutti waffles. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, reasonable prices, highly recommend dining here.
We stopped in at Moby Dicks Breakfast Bar for a quick bite to eat on our way out of town. The food was quick and delicious (all the breakfast staples you could hope for) and the LARGE takeaway coffee is perfect for travellers. Obviously it’s a family run spot as they all chipped in serving customers which made it all the more enjoyable as you felt part of the family. foodiemookie.com
Lovely food, well priced and very helpful staff. We stopped in with both my Grandmother’s who have mobility aids and staff were very accomodating and food was yummy and a great selection. They had weet-bix and toast, we had cooled brekky and could not fault any of it.We were a bit apprehensive after reading bad reviews, but the place were were headed only served to accommodation guests and this place was all we could find. Might take reviews with a grain of salt from now on!
A NO GO place !. From outside this little cafe looks attractive and well located facing the hill. But once inside the story is different…Me and my partner entered the place to get a coffee and something to eat.In a rough tone the owner told us to grab a table forgetting to let us know that we had to order him first. After 5 minutes we realized the obvious.Made our order and got back to our sits.30 minutes later my partner went inside to see what had happened since we hadn’t been served, Not even the coffees. She came out crying (witch is something very unusual)She went inside and very politely asked if it was everything alright with our coffees. The owner, rougher than ever yelled he was very busy. Made a scene ending up abusing and insulting her finalizing with a F* You.There are really nice places around. Avoid this place.
Amazed by the unaccomodating owner! Refused to let us move two tables together… Expected us to sit with our young kids in the howling freezing wind outside! Try somewhere else!
Long wait for coffee that was not strong enough. Umbrellas needed for outside verandah as it gets too hot.
