Rocked up at 8.15pm on a weeknight, not knowing what to expect at that time in a small town. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. The Cape Grim steak was beautiful , tender and full of flavour. The bloke had ordered rare and it arrived more medium than rare but it was melt in your mouth tender. I had a salad with candied pear, prosciutto, blue cheese & walnuts. It was crunchy and tangy. and a huge serve. I was slight put off that almost everything in that part of Strahan was owned by the RACT – wonder what that means for the local businesses.
