The food was quite nice, but how do you spell service again? It was just shocking. You cannot pretend to be an upmarket place and leave the service to some amateurs…
Quite expensive, seemed to be trying a bit too hard in order to justify the upmarket price tag. Every dish had just too many competing flavours and elements. Food was nicely cooked but nothing quite worked together.
This is probably the best option for dining in Strahan. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is good even though some of the flavour combinations are a but strange or dated. It’s also fairly expensive but most restaurants in Tassie have mains around $30.

Extremely disappointed in what seems to pass as a ‘top quality’ restaurant in Strahan. Without boring readers with our terrible meal, suffice it to say that the pork stuffed with dates, coated in tablespoons of mustard, beside a mountain of salad, was quite possibly the weirdest and most unappetising meal I’ve been presented.
Very good service and friendly! Two staff for a full restaurant and they did everything!!
